ประเทศอินโดนิเซีย เมื่อกลางเดือนที่แล้ว สถานการณ์โควิดถูกสื่อขนานนามเป็น “ศูนย์กลางวิกฤติโควิดของโลก” ต่อจากอินเดีย ในทำนอง "The Next India" แต่เพียงไม่ถึงเดือน อินโดนิเซียก็สามารถกดกราฟผู้ติดเชื้อรายวันลงอย่างราบคาบเช่นเดียวกับอินเดีย โดยลดจากผู้ติดเชื้อรายวันที่ 182.94 รายต่อประชากรหนึ่งล้านคน ซึ่งเป็นยอดสูงสุดเมื่อวันที่ 18 กรกฎาคม ลงมาที่ 107.50 รายเมื่อวันที่ 12 สิหาคม แต่ในช่วงเดียวกัน ประเทศไทยกลับมีผู้ติดเชื้อรายวันสวนทางเพิ่มจาก 137.16 ราย มาที่ 299.77 รายต่อประชากรล้านคน

ภาพที่ 1 เปรียบเทียบผู้ติดเชื้อรายวันของประเทศไทย เทียบกับอินโดนิเซีย สำหรับประชากร 1 ล้านคนเท่ากัน ถามว่า กราฟของอินโดนิเซียกลับหัวมาอยู่ในขาลงได้อย่างไร?

ในโพสต์ที่แล้ว ผมได้โพสต์ภาพของกราฟเปรียบเทียบผู้ติดเชื้อรายวันของประเทศไทยกับอินโดนิเซีย พร้อมแนะนำให้ ศบค.ช่วยตรวจสอบว่า รัฐบาลอินโดนิเซียใช้มาตรการอะไรในการกดให้กราฟหักหัวลงได้อย่างน่าอัศจรรย์?

คำตอบน่าจะอยู่ในเนื้อข่าวที่ผมนำมาลงข้างล่างนี้ ซึ่งแปลมาจากข่าวภาษาอินโดนิเซีย กุญแจสำคัญ ใช่การใช้ยาที่ได้ชื่อว่า Wonder Drug หรือ ยา Ivermectin หรือไม่ ?

ยานี้เป็นยาที่ค้นพบมาประมาณ 45 ปีแล้ว ผู้ค้นพบสองท่านได้รับรางวัลโนเบลด้วย เป็นยาที่ใช้ฆ่าพยาธิ ราคาถูกมากและปลอดภัยสูง อ่านมาว่า จนถึงปัจจุบันมีคนทานเพื่อฆ่าพยาธิถึง 4,000 ล้านโดส ไม่ปรากฏมีใครเสียชีวิตเพราะทานยานี้ แต่ยานี้ยังไม่ได้รับการรับรองโดย WHO หรือ อ.ย. ดังนั้น ผมจึงไม่สนับสนุนให้ใครใช้ยานี้เพื่อป้องกันหรือรักษาโรค โดยไม่ได้ปรึกษาแพทย์ก่อน ส่วนรายละเอียดของยานี้ สามารถค้าหาได้บทความในลิงค์ข้างล่างนี้ครับ

JAKARTA: PT Indofarma Tbk seeks to accelerate the distribution of IvermectinThe drug for the treatment of COVID-19 has begun to be produced in large capacity.

In order to accelerate distribution smoothly, PT Indofarma cooperates with DNR Distribution. This cooperation agreement was signed by the President Director of DNR Rudy Tanoesoedibjo with the President Director of PT Indofarma Tbk Arif Pramuhanto on Wednesday, 30 June 2021.

Later, DNR will be involved in distributing Ivermectin through its distribution network. DNR will also become the official distributor of Ivermectin in Indonesia.

"We are confident that we can distribute Ivermectin to various health facilities spread from Sabang to Merauke efficiently, quickly and safely," said Rudy in his written statement.

DNA Distribution has 32 branches and more than 100 thousand outlets spread throughout Indonesia. Currently, DNR has also collaborated with a number of health agencies, namely collaborating with 16,277 pharmacies, 1,476 private hospitals, and 1,004 government hospitals.

"This is the main provision for DNR to be able to carry out the mandate from Indofarma as a distributor of Ivermectin drugs," he said.

DNR Distribution is committed to selling Ivermectin below the highest retail price (HET), which is a pharmacy net price (HNA) of IDR 140 thousand for 20 tablets excluding tax.

Ivermectin is known as an anthelmintic. Along with the Covid-19 outbreak, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) has sent a letter to the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) to support the submission of an application so that Ivermectin can be used as a therapeutic drug for COVID-19.

Ivermectin has been used in various countries around the world as a measure to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Countries such as the European Union, Greece, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, South Africa, India, and countries in the Latin American region have used Ivermectin as a medical component in fighting the pandemic.

SOE Minister Erick Thohir ensures that the production of Ivermectin will continue to be boosted in the future, especially if the results of clinical trials state that Ivermectin can be used as a COVID-19 drug.

Currently, PT Indofarma Tbk (Persero) as a producer of Ivermectin has produced 4.5 million doses. "We have prepared a production of 4.5 million. If it turns out to be good for all of us, of course we will increase this production," Erick said in a virtual press conference,
